Jet lag sets in. It is like the evening time for London now. And since I woke up from my sleep at 3am. I cannot get back to sleep. Jet lag I blame.
It is good as well since now that I have time to do things that I did not have time to do and wanted to do.
While I was in London, it gave me a lot of time to think about myself and my path ahead. Coz you will not need to rush things and do things, you got time to just think for yourself.
Sitting along the street, having a cup of hot chocolate. Looking around, thinking about...
Or even when just walking around the area and just think... And also during those long train rides... Thinking...
People grow when they start to think about things and themselves. If they were to just do and do and do and nothing else, they will never get to think and they will not grow. It is only through self-review that one person starts to grow.
And yes I grow during my weeks that I was away.
And while I was there, I have decided that I will stop posting entries. After going through how much people have innocently being "hurt" by my blogging, I decided that maybe it is good to put it to a stop.
Too many people are reading too much into what other people are blogging and try to interprete their own version of what has happened. And sometimes people who just read it and take what I said too personally.
With all these in mind, I decide to stop blogging to prevent any more people from being "hurt" but also to protect the people around me from any more "headaches".
Hence, if you think that you will remove me from your friend list since II will not close this blog down. It will remain just as an avenue for me to check out my friends' lives. And sometimes commenting on it. am not having any more entries, please go ahead. I am totally alright with it.
For those that still wanna know what is happening in my life, you can always meet me, if not buzz me on msn or leave messages over facebook. I am totally still contactable. You can still reach me through this blog I can still read comments, but just that I wont have new entries.

I am sad that I will be leaving this place tomorrow. I already hug so many good bye. And OMG!!! I will definitely miss them VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone even went to search for a four leaves clover for me!!!! Argh... I am so touched...
She is really so nice. And many others as well...
Hope I wont cry tomorrow. |

Think I will have a bit of problem when i am back in sg.. i am adapting so well that i dun feel a bit tired eventhough it is like 2am in Sg now. Which means, when I am back in Sg, I wont sleep till it is like 6am. Which mean an hour of sleep and I will be going to work.
Omg I am so looking forward to return to Sg and start working from an hour of sleep.
Haha.

I have moved from B & B to homestay...
So my english breakfast has became ceral breakfast... Haha.
But the ceral here are nicer as well!
Yesterday spent 25 pounds at a supermarket... Omg! Coz I offer to help my "landlord" to pay his items as well... Haha. that is like S$70 for a supermarket!
Mine most so far...
But it is ok. they are all so nice to me... what is that bit of money...
4 more days here... before i move... :( |

Learnt something tonight.
I weigh 13 stones. (yeah, stones!)
I had the best bbq chicken (crispy skin with real tender meat)
I had the best chocolate cake that melt in your mouth but not in your hand (I am serious)
I just saw lunar eclipse. (Wonderful!!!!)
People are really amazed about Singapore. (And they all have something nice to say about it, but most of them end up visiting BKK instead of SIN)
Life is really good in here. This is the most enjoyable and memorable trip I ever had in my life. It beats the Cambodia trip last year. It beats the HK trip I had on my own. |

I went to a castle today.
Pendennis Castle.
It is a small castle that is at the tip of UK. So it is protecting the sea in front of UK and also to prevent sea attack.
And a wedding was about to be held inside. So cool. Wedding in a castle. A 500 years old castle that faces the sea.
It is my first castle I see in my life. Yeah. Nice!!!!
And I am going for BBQ later. I really love hanging out here. Everything is so nice apart from the rains. Yeah, it is like monsoon season here! But there aint suppose to be monsoon in here.
I am really hoping to be able to work here one day. But I got to learn how to drive first. If not, I will be so crippled. |

Omg! Tall flower... Big flower... This whole thing is a flower. Which will only be in bloom for 23 days. And smell like corpse... This is their 4th one... Marvellous work. |

Yesterday night was the most homely of all.
It was a real wonderful night. A splendid dinner. A marvellous family. A fantastic host. At a very English setting.
First time, I have a total English meal. Everything was cooked from scratch nothing was bought off-shelves and then heated up.
I have roast chicken, roast ham, roast vegetables, and the desserts are DELICIOUS!
Bread n Butter Pudding
Berry Pies
Apple and Sultana Pies
Totally yummy.
The host was so shocked to know that I can only get Bread and Butter Pudding from hotels, if not expensive english cafe. It is not that common. And I totally digged her pies. The crust is so wonderful. WONDERFUL.
Everything was ate with CREAM! CLOTTED CREAM and Cornish Ice Cream. So yummy so fat.
And their questions on Singapore~ And their research about Singapore... And the shock in their eyes when we talked about local food.
Funny. I totally love the mom and the dad.
This is one of my best meals.
Tonight will be another great night at the Arts Cafe. There will be a DJ. I can go dancing!!! And I really hope that there will be big crowd. If not, I will be quite sad to see their efforts not getting the results.

I am so desperate for shopping that I went shopping at the merchandise shop.. Buying whatever I could there... Not much but good enough.
And when I was off work. I saw that there is this shop that is still open. Immediately I rush in. And I spend 25 pounds on 5 tees.
It isn't that cheap. But things aint cheap in UK to begin with. But I am glad that I did some shopping.
It is a relief.

The beach... marvellous wave i see... n real surfing! there was a surfing competition... and it is cool to see surfing... although the surfers are so far away and you only see a tiny figure but so many people are braving the cold weather and strong sea breeze coming along with a heavy rain just to see them in action... and i am loving it as well... if i dun see it now when will i get to see a real surfer!!!! I din get myself to the surf board though... admiration from far is good enough... i really love the wave!! And i also get to see so many surf brands which never exist in sg.. and when i am there looking at the shops n cafe... i was thinking of sentosa.... n i know what sentosa wanna create with the only quiksilver/ ripcurl shop there... doing like what is it in most beaches in europe... but there is no surf culture in sg so very hard.. the only surf we see in sg is the fashion....

one very interesting brand i found was Plain Lazy... their words are really wicked! The tee cost 15 pounds... meaning S$40 plus.. i wont pay for it... lucky at the surf competition tents... one stall selling it at 5 pounds though it is not my fav design as limited due to the cheap price... but i still buy one piece...
Fat Face has 50% sale not storewide though... found a piece of belt that is actually more than 50% and looks decent... so I bought it... not sure is it still more exp than sg but i still bought it.. coz i am a tourist!!!
bought a pair of surf shoe at 4 pounds... i know i dun surf but i can wear it during beachy times! if i go beach..
I am not counting the exchange rate whenever i buy.. so when i see 1 pound i think cheap i buy.... i see 1.99 pound i think is cheap i buy... but after exchanging... it is $3 or $6.. i feel the pinch! Argh...
But I love UK!

Bed and breakfast... I am on this double bed now facing the window with the laptop near the lamp... shiok! no aircon in the room but just by opening the window tiny bit i will get aircon and my palms r freezing from this typing... the sun is already up now... 6.49am.. in fact he is up for 2 hours already... n it only set at 8.30pm but he works a bit of OT and set at 9.30pm last night... very nice very nice i am feeling so british now.. pardon my accent when i am back... (as if)
The breakfast I am having every morning at this b n b... the mushroom is marvellous.. the sasuage is funny... the toast is damn oily.. the bacon is nice... baked beans are the same... tomato i dun generally eat but now i do coz they are british... i ask for a change menu n they suggested scrambled on toast i said yes... and they gave me one toast with scrambled on top... so little!!! argh should stick to this english breakfast! |
